A group of local homeowners and friends of the Pinecroft Baptist Church formed the Pinecroft Group with a mission to gain a larger voice by standing firmly together while negotiating with the oil and gas companies.
The Pinecroft Group has expanded its membership by opening up the borders of the original group to allow homeowners from different sections to join. Currently there are approximately 1500 acres represented.
The Pinecroft Group is comprised of local homeowners and business owners who have volunteered their time and energy to help organize the areas so we may all receive the best possible leases.
The Pinecroft Group Steering Committee is working diligently to organize the various sections into one group so the Pinecroft Group Board / Negotiating Team can effectively concentrate on contacting and negotiating with various Oil and Gas Companies.

This organization is founded on a co-op or alliance concept for the mutual benefit of obtaining the best possible oil and gas lease “OGL” for all its members without compensation to any organizers or members. The bigger the acreage, the better the bargaining power.
Each member needs to fill out the attached letter of intent and return it tonight. You can give it to your team leader or mail it to Pinecroft Group, P.O. Box 8808, Shreveport, LA 71148. Letters mailed after August 14th will be accepted no later than August 21, 2008.
There will be an expense for an oil and gas attorney who is experienced and knowledgeable in this field. We have retained, Wiener, Weiss & Madison Law Firm, and John Madison will be our attorney. The oil and gas attorney fee will be equally divided among all members. The attorney fee (approx. $25.00 per household) will be required. Attorney fees will be payable at signing of lease, cash or money order only.
The services of the oil and gas attorney will be limited to work directed by the board and will include review of the oil and gas lease.
Note: Anyone contacting the attorney by phone, email or in person for any questions must pay the attorneys hourly rate and will be responsible to pay for his time individually.
The final OGL agreement will be approved by majority vote of the general membership.
Any member voting against the final approval OGL agreement will then have the option of accepting the majority approved agreement or proceeding without the group.
